Carl WOBYEB
I am Carl Wobyeb, a third-year journalism student at the Advanced School of Mass Communication, ASMAC, and a generalist journalist with a strong interest in the realities shaping everyday life. My work focuses particularly on digital journalism and emerging forms of information dissemination in an increasingly connected world. Through this blog, I place people at the center of every story. My approach is dynamic, accessible, and grounded in fieldwork, with a keen focus on social issues in Yaounde and beyond. I am driven by a commitment to amplify voices that are often unheard and to shed light on the lived experiences of communities. My ambition is to inform with purpose: to give citizens a platform to share their stories, to document realities with accuracy, and to contribute meaningfully to public discourse. This blog serves as a space for community-centered journalism, covering a wide range of topics including society, religion, sports, health, and education. All content is produced with rigor, empathy, and a strong emphasis on verification. It draws from in-depth reporting, on-the-ground observations, personal testimonies, and multimedia storytelling, combining text, photography, and video to ensure that the human dimension remains at the heart of every narrative.
